REDS
Barolo Mondiale
For centuries, this "King of Wines" has aroused fascination among accomplished wine lovers. Made from the nebbiolo grape, it is a wine of magnificent garnet-red color with a light purple hint at the rim. It has aromas of blackberries, violets and truffles on the nose. The wine itself is splendidly robust, complex, full bodied and mouth filling. Its very noticeable tannins, evident acidity and herbal bouquet give it a fine roundness and it has a clean and lively attack thanks to its high level of alcohol.Alcohol:+/-14.5%
Food pairing: This wine pairs well with roast red meats, confit de canard, game and strongly flavoured cheeses.
Serving: Between 15 degrees and 17 degrees celcius.
Comments: Expresses itself best at maturity although there is a strong temptation to drink this wine young.
Rojo Grande
With Red Raisins Mosti Mondiale proprietary Blend. This wine is a blend of Chilean Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Carmenere. It has a deep garnet robe with violet reflections. The attack is aggressive, almost overpowering, and then the wine starts to unfold and its rich earthy tones become evident. The hint of peppers and spice are in perfect harmony with the abundant ripe red berries. The bouquet is of wild berries with a vegetal hint and a slight "leathery" finish.Alcohol:+/-14.5%
Food pairing: This wine pairs well with grilled red meats (well spiced), hearty stews, and pastas with rich sauces.
Serving: Between 18 degrees and 20 degrees celcius.
Comments: A wine that is definitely not for the masses or people with weak taste buds. Your patience will be rewarded immensely.
WHITES
Chardonnay Del Veneto
This is a contemporary Italian, distinguished by its refinement. Pale straw yellow in colour with a marvellous harmony of aromas of tropical fruit and flowering shrubs, it has flavours of passion fruit and freshly gathered citrus fruits. Its naturally high level of acidity gives it a much sought after fresh and lively taste. Fleshy and well balanced, it is a refined wine that is appropriate for all occasions.Alcohol:+/-12%
Food pairing: This wine pairs well with a veal roast, shellfish and desserts that are not too sweet.
Serving: Quite chilled.
Comments: A wine that can be enjoyed when young but gains finesse as it ages.
Moscato Italiano
This Northern Italian favorite is the base for spumante. It’s rich fruity flavours make it a perfect wine to be served as an aperitif or served with spicy Asian cuisine. On the palate, the wine exudes rich fruity flavors. The bouquet is very floral with slight citrus
undertones. A versatile wine that can be served with or without a meals. Alcohol: +/-11%
Food pairing: This wine pairs well with spicy Asian dishes (Thai, Indian etc) or simply served on its own.
Serving: Between 4° and 8°C
Comments: A light bodied white wine with an incredible bouquet.
February
REDS
Amarone Mondiale
Just thinking about how Amarone is made evokes excitement when it is tasted. Ruby-red when it is young, the colour deepens with age. It has an exciting nose with aromas of very ripe cherries and plums with a touch of liquorice. It leaves an enjoyable sensation of fruit, spices and even coffee on the palate. Tight tannins and a high level of alcohol give a robust wine with long lasting flavours on the finish. This is a rich, well-structured dry wine, fruity and liqueur-like with the noble bitterness that typifies Amarone. It is also very enjoyable as an after dinner drink when discussions get passionate.Alcohol:+/-14.5%
Food pairing: This wine pairs well with pasta matched with a pesto or spicy tomato sauce, roast meats, and cheeses of the Parmesan style.
Serving: Between 14 degrees and 16 degrees celcius.
Comments: May be enjoyed young but also has the ability for extended aging.
Pinot Noir
A wine for the senses, this Pinot Noir is truly elegant in every way! Its intense color is combined with a marvelous bouquet comprising of both violets and spices. When young, your taste buds will become teased by the unity of ripe cherries and earthy spices. As this wine ages, you’ll notice hints of flavors such as; chocolate, prune, and figs. This wine has a smooth attack with a long lingering finish.Alcohol:+/-12.5%
Food pairing: This wine pairs excellently with roast beef and steaks, quail, roasted leg of lamb,duck, and salmon.
Serving: Between 14 degrees and 18 degrees celcius.
Comments: Watch closely! This wine ages to surpass all expectations!
Marzemino
An almost forgotten varietal, Marzemino was very popular during the Classical Era, it is making a come back due to its fresh yet warm feel on the palate. It was so popular it made it into Mozart’s play Don Giovanni “Versa il vino! Eccellente Marzemino!”
A vivid ruby red coloured wine with a fruity, almost floral bouquet. Warm and medium bodied with a faint bitter finish, this wine is suited for those looking for a wine with its own original character. Alcohol: +/-11.9%
Food pairing: This wine pairs excellently with cured meats (salami, ham etc), grilled pork meat, red pasta sauces.
Serving: 18°C
Comments: : If you enjoy a fruity red wine, do not let it age beyond 2 years.
WHITES
Pinot Grigio del Veneto
Becoming better and better known outside its native Italy, it is creating a new infatuation everywhere in the world. Brilliant translucent yellow in colour, it has pleasing aromas of lemon trees and pear blossom. Its attractive flavours of tropical fruit and green apples give Pinot Grigio an air of novelty. Medium full bodied with fine acidity, it stimulates the taste buds with its aromatic bouquet.Alcohol:+/-12%
Food pairing: This wine pairs well with salads, seafood and really tempting with sushi.
Serving: Quite chilled.
Comments: While not a new wine, it is a new wine to offer on several occasions.

REDS
Old Vine Zinfandel

Rojo Intenso
With Red Raisins Mosti Mondiale Proprietary Blend. This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. Dark ruby in colour, this wine has an intense nose of ripe berries (raspberries, black currant etc.), which intertwine perfectly with the smoky oak nose. To the palate it reveals a chunky fruit character with hints of ripe plums. Perfectly balanced alcohol, acidity and body make for a "heady" wine in more ways than one.

Food pairing: This wine pairs well with grilled red meats, sushi (yes sushi, it is not a misprint), cured meats and strong cheeses.

Shiraz
The Shiraz grape is dark-skinned and grown throughout the world. Its status as a powerful red wine continues to elevate as does its popularity among all red wine drinkers.
